Danielle Baker – Registered Acupuncturist & Clinic Owner, Innate Harmony

Danielle Baker is a degree qualified acupuncturist who has been in clinical practice for over 20 years. Danielle graduated from the Australian College of Natural Medicine in 2003 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture which included the completion of clinical internship in Guangxi Province. She is also registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a longstanding member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
Danielle’s journey with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began in her early twenties after becoming extremely ill overseas. Upon returning home she explored many treatment options which included extensive testing however none of these treatments resolved her health issues and her condition began to deteriorate. In fact, it wasn’t until she was referred to a TCM practitioner by a family friend that her condition began to improve. Although her recovery took time, she started to slowly improve and the stubborn and persistent symptoms that hadn’t responded to conventional treatments began to dissipate. Having had such a positive experience with her own TCM treatment Danielle started to research it further. Indeed, she became so fascinated and impressed by TCM and its healing abilities she decided to study it.
Throughout her career, Danielle has provided individualised and holistic care to her patients. She has a gentle but practical style that offers her patients the empathy, support and encouragement they require to achieve their health goals. Being a highly motivated person herself, she prides herself on her abilities to empower and motivate her patients on leading healthier more fulfilling lives.
Specifically, as a practitioner Danielle is extremely passionate about TCM, and her style of practice is very true to its principles and teachings. In consultations she aims to focus on the individual from a holistic perspective, identifying why they have become unwell then tailoring an individualised treatment plan. In doing this she develops treatment protocols and practices specific to TCM to assist them in their recovery. This might include acupuncture, patented herbal medicine, moxibustion, supplements, dietary and lifestyle changes or a combination thereof. All treatments are tailored specifically to the needs of the individual.
Danielle sustains her passion for TCM and women’s health by attending seminars on a regular basis, ensuring her skill set is current and relevant. She also collaborates closely with other practitioners.
